The files from the CGFX 3 installation, yes.

Apparently not.

If you have a monitor attached to the card, power on and get a picture of
some sort the card is properly installed hardware-wise (the card has a
sort-of pass-thru for native screen-modes).

Now, first we remove CGFX3.

Open a shell. Enter the libs: directory delete cgx#?
Enter devs:monitors. Delete Bvis#? Enter ENVARC:CyberGraphX.
Delete #?. Enter envarc:sys. Delete screenmode.prefs

Reboot. Now you should have a clean AGA-system with a 640x256 screen
with 4 colours.

Insert the CyberGraphX4 CD is in your drive and begin the
installation. When it asks you what graphics-card you have,
choose CyberVisionPPC. The remaining questions are a bit harder
to answer what you should choose. They're a bit more depending
on how you want the computer to perform. Apart from the
monitor-specification part. Choose a Khz-range your monitor
can handle.

Reboot when done. Install all updates you have but you don't
have to bother with the BvisionPPC driver. The CVision one works
just as well.

Everything that remains to do now is to use CGXMode to setup the
screenmodes you want to use. Can take a while to get them the
way you want them. First, check if your monitor is listed under
"Monitor specifications". Otherwise, use your monitor-manual and
create one entry for it. When that's done, save all changes and
reboot once again.

Set up a simple 640x480x24 to test with to see if you can get a
graphics-card screen. When you have that one, create all
screenmodes you want to have access to.
